Personal data processed

If you contact us, the following data is processed:

• Identity data: first name and surname.
• Contact data: email address, telephone number.
• Enquiry data: the name of your company and the subject of the enquiry you raise with us.
• Transaction security data: IP address and access time recorded in web server logs (solely for security and debugging).

Purposes of processing

• Receiving, assessing and responding to your enquiry.
• Conducting an initial consultation regarding our advisory services.
• Performing the service and managing the client relationship where an engagement is entered into.
• Meeting legal obligations and providing evidence in the event of a dispute.
• Ensuring the security of the website and preventing abuse.

Legal grounds

Your personal data is processed under Article 5 of the KVKK on the following grounds:

• Being directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c).
• Being necessary for the data controller to fulfil a legal obligation (Art. 5/2-ç).
• Being necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided this does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (Art. 5/2-f).
• Your explicit consent in all other cases (Art. 5/1).

Method of collection

Your personal data is collected wholly or partly by automated means through telephone, email and direct meetings. No data is collected via a form on the website.

Transfers

Your personal data may be transferred to the following parties, to the extent necessary for the service and in accordance with the applicable legislation:

• Our website hosting and content management service providers (acting as data processors).
• Relevant public institutions and agencies where the advisory service requires it.
• Competent public authorities and judicial bodies where required by legal obligation.

Retention period

Your personal data is retained for as long as the purpose of processing requires and until the end of the limitation periods set out in the applicable legislation. Records of initial consultations that do not lead to an engagement are deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period after the enquiry is concluded.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to:

• Learn whether your personal data is being processed and, if so, request information about it.
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose.
• Know the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom the data is transferred.
• Request correction of incomplete or inaccurately processed data.
• Request erasure or destruction of the data under the conditions set out in the law.
• Request that correction, erasure and destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred.
• Object to a result adverse to you arising from analysis of the data solely by automated means.
• Claim compensation for damage suffered as a result of unlawful processing.

You may send requests relating to your rights to info@magnusstrateji.com or to the postal address above. Depending on the nature of the request, it will be concluded free of charge within thirty days at the latest. Where the process entails an additional cost, the fee set out in the tariff determined by the Board may be charged.
